Philipp Klinger

I love Philipp Klinger's sense of positive/negative space and pattern... His photos really are fantastic...

What is this selling?

This photo is supposed to be selling the beanbag chairs... but all I can think about is getting out on that gorgeous and surreal looking dock.

Jak and Jil

I love all of the photography on the Jak and Jil blog, but these photos of the Patrik Ervell show really speak to me. I love the filtered light in the space, allowing the background to become more important than the fashion.

Blue

I am loving this photo of a Cuban hospital by G Michael Reilly. The colors are lovely, and they really help accentuate the form. Such a simple structure... its really quite striking. If only more hospitals were as delightful as this, we might all get better faster!

Planning my escape

For some reason, I've had Paris on the brain for the last month... I keep planning my escape to Paris, even knowing that it won't happen for quite some time!
.
I just can't stop thinking about it!

Shiny

This installation by Coordination and diephotodesigner is made of high polished steel with matte black contrasting surfaces. The pieces were moved around Berlin and photographed to show the new and old structures of the city...

Function Over Form

Georg Parthen's photographs of utilitarian structures are quite beautiful... Sometimes the simple form is really all you need...

Blown Away

I found Posie et Verite's flicker photos through a post on 2 or 3 things. Like L Cerre, I am particularly drawn to these photos of a Namibian ghost town. Taken over by the winds and sands, the eroding structures can only partially contain the moving landscape. I just love the colors and dynamic energy of these photos... and its not just these photos. Posie has an enormous flicker set, which would be easy to spend hours poring over each and every beautiful photo.
