Is minimalism livable? That is a question that's currently being asked by the Financial Times... A common argument is that an organized house helps clear up a disorganized mind. But, how far is too far? Once we start making these minimal spaces 'livable', do they lose their true meaning? Personally, I think there is a very fine line between a livable minimal interior and one that is detached from its minimalist ideals. While hard to specifically define, its a threshold that is easy to recognize. But, I certainly do believe that we can live in minimal spaces, and that they can in fact improve our lives.
